Dr. Michael D Hablitzel  D.D.S.

I have been practicing dentistry since 1978. After graduating from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry, I joined the U.S. Navy and practiced dentistry in Great Lakes, Illinois; Okinawa, Japan; and Moffet Field, California. In 1983, I returned to Port Clinton, Ohio to practice dentistry with my father and brother. In 1990, I joined the Ohio Army National Guard Medical Team and have been deployed to Iraq. I have also had six missions to Central and South America.

After 36 years of various military assignments, I retired from the Ohio Army National Guard as a Colonel. In addition to my formal education, I actively pursue continuing education in all areas of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, and prosthodontics. I have completed “The Concept of Complete Dentistry Series” at the Peter Dawson, DDS Center for Advanced Dental Study.

By maintaining a current understanding of technology and the finest methods and materials available in dentistry, I provide my patients with the best treatments dentistry has to offer. I am committed to superior dental care to ensure excellence for all my patients.
